Privacy Policy
LLC “PROMDEVELOPMENT” (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides the VPN service “Pipster” (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).
As a privacy-focused service, we fully recognize the importance of providing users with complete transparency regarding the possible use of their personal data.
Scope of This Privacy Policy
The provisions of this document apply to the processing of personal data of Service users and website visitors, i.e., in all cases where we determine the purposes and means of processing personal information.
This Policy does not apply to other companies and services (hereinafter “third parties”), even if we use their services to perform certain operations. We do not control and are not responsible for their privacy policies or actions.
By using our Service or mobile application, you automatically agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Collection and Storage of Personal Information
To ensure maximum privacy, we collect only the minimum necessary information: users’ email addresses. This data is stored in encrypted form.
Any personal information transmitted between your device and our servers is protected using encryption technologies.
We do not request or store any other personal data, including names, physical location, or IP addresses.
We may use users’ email addresses to send news and promotional materials that may be of interest. Users may opt out of such communications fully or partially via the appropriate link or by contacting us.
By creating an account on pipster.org, you agree to these terms.
2. Collection of VPN Usage Data
We do not intentionally collect any additional data regarding users’ activity and do not track their online behavior. All data remains anonymous and is not linked to a real IP address.
3. Processing of Personal Information
We may process data related to website usage. This may include information such as IP address, geographic location, browser type and version, operating system, session duration, selected interface preferences, and frequency of visits. This information is used to analyze service usage, enhance security, improve control, and strengthen protection mechanisms.
4. Support Communications
We process all incoming communications from users, including message content and metadata. For this purpose, we store users’ email addresses. Our website and email servers generate metadata related to communication using the SMTP protocol. This allows us to provide effective support and improve the Service.
5. Purpose of Data Processing
We use collected data for the following purposes:
- maintaining and developing the Service;
- notifying users about changes;
- enabling access to interactive features;
- providing customer support (including password recovery);
- analyzing and improving the Service;
- monitoring Service usage;
- detecting and resolving technical issues;
- preventing fraud and illegal activities;
- fulfilling contractual obligations;
- ensuring legal compliance and protecting user interests;
- informing users about news and special offers (with consent).
Pipster uses personal data strictly for the purposes listed above. Please do not provide any additional personal information.
6. Crash Reports and Anonymity
With user consent, we may collect anonymous data related to system failures and connection diagnostics. This data cannot be linked to user activity within the VPN Service.
Our applications may send:
- diagnostic data;
- speed test results;
- crash reports.
7. Data Processing After Service Termination
After you stop using the Service, you may request the deletion of all your data, including your account.
8. Copyright-Related Notices
We provide the VPN Service solely as a tool for ensuring online security and privacy. Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
9. Requests from Authorities
The Company is physically located in Russia. In case of an official request for information, we are obliged to comply, but we cannot provide data we do not possess. Since only an email address is required for registration, we do not have additional user data. If we are legally required to store certain data (e.g., connection logs), we will promptly inform users and take all necessary measures to protect their anonymity or discontinue the Service if needed.
10. Data Security
Data security is extremely important to us; however, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We take all reasonable measures to use modern security technologies but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our servers are located in secure facilities, data is encrypted, and all transmissions are protected at least by TLS 1.2.
11. Your Rights
Users have the right to correct, delete, or restrict the use of their personal data.
If you would like to know what data we hold about you or request deletion, please contact us.
You have the right to:
- obtain a copy of your personal data;
- correct or update inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data;
- restrict data processing;
- object to data processing.
You may also request an electronic copy of your data (verification may be required).
If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you may file a complaint with relevant authorities. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
12. Payments and Financial Data
We provide paid services as part of the Service. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers.
We do not store or retain users’ financial transaction data. All payment information is transmitted directly to the payment provider, which operates under its own privacy policy.
Payments are processed in accordance with PCI-DSS standards supported by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
By selecting a paid subscription plan (e.g., Basic, Premium, Diamond), you agree to automatic (recurring) billing as described in the User Agreement.
13. Analytics
Pipster uses services such as Yandex Metrica, AppMetrica, and similar tools to analyze aggregated data about website and app usage. When loading pages or opening the app, code may collect information about the device, language, screen size, and other parameters. Cookies may be used to identify repeat visits.
Mobile analytics for iOS and Android processes anonymized data about installs, uninstalls, and advertising performance.
14. Data Transfers
Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to servers located in other cities, regions, or countries where laws may differ.
If you are located outside Russia and use the Service, you agree that your data will be processed in Russia.
By continuing to use the Service, you consent to such data transfers. We take all necessary measures to ensure data security.
